Llewellyn Ryland HVD-02 Multi Purpose QuickCure Bonding Paste

HVD02 is an amine pre-accelerated, quick curing, filled, general purpose orthophtalic bonding

paste. It has been designed for non-structural general back-bonding and bonds that are to be

HVD02 is a blue paste that exhibits a colour change on the addition of 1-3% BPO (50%

Benzyl peroxide paste). HVD02 gives a tough bond and reasonably low shrinkage. Whilst

HVD02 has been designed for bonding GRP/GRP it also gives bond properties to other

substrates such as metal, PVC and wood. Llewellyn Ryland Ltd recommends the customer

performs trials with the HVD02 and substrate to be used to assess suitability.

HVD02 has been designed to give a rapid cure with between 1 - 3% BPO. Due to its rapid

cure time HVD02 has a limited pot life and as such limits application techniques, the most

effective being by spatula. HVD02 is not recommended for use below 16°C. Generally it is

observed that as shop floor temperature decreases the cure time of HVD02 lengthens.
