Llewellyn Ryland HVD-06/02 MultiBond Bonding Paste

HVD06/02 has been designed specifically to reduce cost over existing HVD's used for

filleting, fairing and bonding core on small mouldings. It benefits by being lightweight, low

shrink and tough.

Application

HVD06/02 is designed to be applied with between 1 & 2% medium reactive MEKP and

demonstrates a subtle colour change shortly after adding and sufficiently mixing the catalyst.

The colour change gives confidence that the catalyst has been mixed correctly. Areas

applied with HVD06/02 when no colour change is achieved after 30 minutes indicate that

HVD06/02 has not been catalysed or mixed correctly. This should then be removed, the area

cleaned and HVD06/02 reapplied.

HVD06/02 is designed with a combination of resins, fillers and additives to give specific

properties and as such should NEVER be 'let down' with laminating resin or styrene; such

modifications do not only affect rheology but also mechanical properties.

HVD06/02 can be applied via trowel, piping bag, brush or automated dispensing equipment,

the unique design of HVD06/02 allows it to pass through high ratio pumps without risk of the

pump destroying the properties of the paste.

Due to the low specific gravity, high viscosity, high thixotropic and pseudoplastic properties of

HVD06/02, it can lend itself to virtually all application requirements from high film applications

overhead to core applications that need to be spread and combed.
